Jean-Luc Dehaene was Prime Minister of Belgium from 1992 to 1999. Under his government, Belgium became a fully-fledged federal state.
From 2000 to 2007 he was mayor of Vilvoorde.
In 2002 he was nominated as Vice-President of the European Convention.
Jean-Luc Dehaene was Prime Minister of Belgium for 7 years.
